Detailed Trip

Day One: Pickup and Transfer to Maasai Mara National Park

Early in the morning, our driver-guide will pick you up from the agreed point, starting with a briefing session as you enjoy tea together, telling you what you have to expect in the three days, taking you through the acceptable and unacceptable behavior, and a brief history of Kenya.

Thereafter, you will drive together through Nairobi City as you have amazing views of the magnificent ancient and modern buildings, visit the country’s national Museum before proceeding to Masai Mara National Park, making the first stop over at the Great Rift Valley for scenic viewing and photography, for approximately 30mins.

Proceed with the drive, switching from a smooth tarmac road to a bumpy maram road to Narok center, where you will have late lunch before proceeding to lodge at Masai Mara or nearby place, ready for dinner and overnight as you wait for the next day’s activities.

Day Two: Morning game Drive, Sightseeing and evening Game Drive

After breakfast, pack your lunch, cameras, Binoculars, Umbrellas and head out for an amazing morning game drive in the wilderness, where you will follow the trails for 3-4 hours, with hopes of catching a hunt or viewing one of the mammals you have always desired to spot, be it lions, buffalos, elephants, giraffes, antelopes, Rhinos, or leopard among others.

However, to spot any of the cats (lion or leopard), you will need luck and stay focused because they tend to hide especially after hunting at night, and besides that, no one makes an appointment with them, though we believe that the day you come for the trip, will be the time they will be out to hunt.

When the 3 hours elapse, you will proceed to Mara River, a spot of sighting the wildebeests when they are crossing to the Masai region for pasture. Expect to catch the sight of Crocodiles and Hippos as well as other mammals that come daily to drink water.

When it is done, have lunch and rest till evening when you will head out for a night game drive as you search for the nocturnal shy creatures such as the Hyenas, Hippos and other mammals that tend to be brave at the time. High chances are that you can easily sport lions and Leopards since they tend to hunt at this time, so hope for the best before returning to bed for the overnight.

Day Three: Cultural encounter and Departure to Nairobi

After breakfast, checkout of the lodge and drive to the Maasai Village for an exciting cultural encounter with the Masai Herdsmen, you will have an opportunity of knowing what happens in a village setting every morning, how the locals do farming and even seeing the local cows.

The Maasai people will entertain you with interesting dances, and very nice songs that you will desire to listen to repeatedly. Thereafter, buy some souvenirs from the locals before proceeding with the 3 hours’ drive to Nairobi.
