Gorillas are humans’ closest relatives found in Uganda, The Democratic Republic of Congo, and the gifted land of a thousand hills, Rwanda. The safari starts from Kigali to Volcanoes National Park, located 116 km and approximately 2 ½ hour’s drive from Kigali, the capital city of Rwanda.

Tracking these creatures lasts for approximately 2-6 hours depending on how far they have moved, with one separate hour for you to study them upon locating them, it requires no specific skills, but you have to be above fifteen years of age and physically fit because it involves moving through rocky slopes and dense jungles.

The safari starts very early in the morning, before even the sun rising, at roughly 5:00am, when our expert driver-guide will pick you up from the agreed point (Residence, Hotel, or Airport), for the amazing two and half hour drive to volcanoes national park, while having eye-catching views of the rolling hills, green plantations and homesteads spread along with the country.
