Tracking these creatures lasts for approximately 2-6 hours depending on how far they have moved, with one separate hour for you to study them upon locating them, it requires no specific skills, but you have to be above fifteen years of age and physically fit because it involves moving through rocky slopes and dense jungles.

The safari starts very early in the morning, before even the sun rising, at roughly 5:00am, when our expert driver-guide will pick you up from the agreed point (Residence, Hotel, or Airport), for the amazing two and half hour drive to volcanoes national park, while having eye-catching views of the rolling hills, green plantations and homesteads spread along with the country.
Upon reaching Kinigi, the headquarters of volcanoes national park, join fellow trekkers for a gorilla trekking briefing and document verifications that starts at exactly 8:00am, for approximately 30minutes from a knowledgeable park ranger, as you enjoy a cup of coffee.
The park guides will be taking you through the dos and don’ts while in the jungle with an allocated family of gorillas, as well as entertaining questions or inquiries from anyone. thereafter, be allocated a one park ranger, trackers and a porter (for hire) who will accompany you to the forest in quest of the creatures, the beauty is that the tracking doesn’t keep you focused on only the gorillas but also the beautiful flora, birds and monkeys that swing and jump from one tree branch to another.
