Trip Details:

Day one: Pickup and exploring Arusha city

Upon your arrival at the park, our expert driver-guide will be glad to meet and welcome you for the seven days’ safari in a special way, going ahead to chat with you about the country, what you have to expect during the seven days and some of the acceptable behaviors.

Thereafter, you will drive around Arusha city, which gives you the amazing views of Mount Kilimanjaro on a clear day as well as the magnificent Mount Meru. Tour the Museum to learn about some of the cultural tools for different Tanzanian cultures, and the local markets to buy some essential items that you will require during the safari. But if time allows, you will visit Arusha national park after lunch before driving straight to your lodge for refreshment, dinner and an overnight stay.

Day Two: Depart Arusha for Serengeti National Park

Wake up in the morning with a glimpse of the beautiful sunrise and have a sturdy breakfast, before checking out of the hotel for a 5-6 hours’ drive to Serengeti national park, host of the annual wildebeest migration that occurs from June to September as they cross from Serengeti national park to Masai Mara national park for water and tasty pasture.

The journey is covered with plenty of snacks and drinks to partake while navigating through both tarmac and maram roads with scenic features, switching from one landscape to another, viewing some of the eye-catching attractions, valleys, and plantations spread on the route.

As you approach the park, begin to appreciate the beautiful sceneries, landscape and wide range of biodiversity when you spot two or more mammals roaming around the park as you go to your accommodation for a relaxed evening, followed by dinner and overnight.

Day three: Morning and night game drives

You will wake up for an early morning breakfast then pack your camera, binocular, umbrella and lunch among others as you set out for an early morning game drive in the gifted savannah plain of Serengeti national park.

The game viewing experience that lasts for approximately 4 hours gives you a chance of spotting unique mammals such as warthogs, lions, leopards, Buffaloes, antelopes, elephants, Rhinos, and the cheetahs, among others.

Not only that, but you also get the opportunity of watching different unique bird species soaring above the skies of Serengeti as well as the rare tree species spread across the park.

Have a delicious bush breakfast under a huge tree shade before driving back to the lodge for some rest after lunch that will be followed by an evening game drive that will expose you to most of the nocturnal mammals as well as other shy creatures that tend to be brave at night such as lions, leopards, hyenas, and hippos among others before getting back to the lodge for dinner and rest.

Day four: Cultural experience and Nature walk

You will have a relaxed breakfast before heading out for an exciting encounter with the Masai people who will take you through some of the thrilling cultural performances and very interesting stories.

The Masai culture is one of the original cultures still in existence, exhibiting authentic cultural performances and untold stories. They are herdsmen who rare cattle and do some agriculture on the outskirts of Serengeti national park. The experience entails authentic cultural dances, an exhibition of local farming and hunting tools as well as telling you some of the unforgettable stories.

Enjoy local lunch with the Masai people before heading out for an interesting guided nature walk that will enable you to stretch your legs as you learn of the different tree species, watch the birds sing and soar, as well as having a very exciting evening with the views of the sunset. Dinner and a night stay at the lodge will follow.

Day five: Transfer to Ngorongoro crater for sightseeing and game drive after a morning game drive

Wake up early in the morning and head out for a 3-4 hours rewarding game drive experience in the wilderness as you search for some of the mammals that you might have missed during the previous day, be it a lion, leopard, cheetah hyena or Rhino.

Return to the lodge for dinner before checking out of the lodge for a 4-5 hours transfer to Ngorongoro crater, with the world’s largest caldera. Arrival will be late in the evening when you will have dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day six: Full day game drive and exploration

After rising early morning, you will have breakfast before driving to the scenic Ngorongoro crater, the world’s largest volcanic crater, and not only that but also a true hub of wildlife hosting several mammals such as elephants, buffalos, antelope’s and Rhinos among others. You will spend roughly six hours here, taking photos, admiring the beauty and ambiance around the place and a lot more fun that only words cannot express.

Picnic lunch will be the order of the day as you explore the wilderness and ask the guide everything you may not understand during the safari.

Day seven: Crater Rim walk and Departure to Arusha/Kilimanjaro international airport

Start your day with a cup of coffee, before going for a 2-3 hour walk on top of the rim, an experience that exposes you to every detail in the interior of Ngorongoro crater as well as a chance to adventure and enjoy one of the world’s seven wonders right in front of you.

After the experience, return to the lodge and park your luggage ready for a 4-5-hour journey back either to Arusha or Kilimanjaro airport where you will connect back home or to your next destination.
